In fact, for many, this space is the control center of the operating system itself, from which all other work begins. As most people already know directly, here you will find shortcuts to the most commonly used applications, folders, or files. At the same time, it creates new content that you always want to see and finds important access features of Windows itself.
But of course, in many cases, over time, this desk can become difficult to use. This can be given for a variety of reasons, so the best we can do is take specific precautions in this regard. This all has a healthy purpose of optimizing our use of PCs. As you can imagine, this will slightly increase your daily productivity with your team and allow you to work in a more comfortable and effective way.
Customize the size of the desktop icon
Depending on the number of elements added to this, the size of the workspace, or just in our view, should change. Therefore, the system itself gives you the opportunity to resize it to suit your needs. For example, if it doesn’t look good, you can make it larger. On the contrary, if it is too much, the size can be reduced.
Therefore, this is something we can achieve in an easy way, the same as the context menu, by clicking the right mouse button. Then go to the View option.
Use the appropriate desktop background
From time to time, we may not be able to distinguish well desktop icons with backgrounds we have established. This can be especially unpleasant when using images that are too bright, for example. To resolve this, if you are using a Windows theme, go back to the context menu and try selecting Next Desktop Background. You can also click Customize. You can use it to make changes. Image by hand.
Use the recommended screen resolution
On the other hand, the screen may not be properly configured to use and display this element. These are the key hardware elements, especially if the resolution is wrong. Clean your desktop completely
But just as we can do a complete cleaning of Windows desktop etc. But no, don’t think it means eliminating all the elements we have at our disposal. It will be a little radical. So if you always want a clean desktop for your icons, but you need to be able to recover your icons quickly later, this is the solution.
It is enough to return to the context menu on this desktop. In this case, select the Show / Show Desktop Icon option. If you uncheck it, you can see that everything except the background disappears.
